Qualifications & Experience

I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University.

I also earned a Level 1 Nutrition Certification from Precision Nutrition (Pn1).

Beyond my formal education, I’m passionate about the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira Angola—a dynamic blend of dance, martial arts, music, and acrobatics. I’ve practiced martial arts for over a decade, currently training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I’ve had the privilege of training clients from diverse backgrounds, aged 15 to 80, with goals ranging from building muscle, losing weight, and improving strength to mastering advanced acrobatics, maintaining fitness during pregnancy, and improving overall health.

My Fitness Story

As a child, I was overweight and turned to martial arts to lose weight and build self-confidence. Along the way, I became fascinated with the teaching methods and strength training techniques my coaches used.

Through martial arts, I discovered a passion for coaching, teaching, and nutrition. That passion led me to major in Exercise Science in college, and shortly after graduating, I earned my CSCS certification. Today, I combine my academic knowledge, real-world training experience, and lifelong love for movement to help others unlock their physical potential.
